Christ’s Bride
God does not want to be involved in a two-part relationship; He does not want to have to share you with the world. God wants us all to Himself, that’s why He created us, to love Him and bring Him glory. That’s why we have to stop loving the world and turn our whole hearts to Christ. We must divorce the world and the things of the world before we can become part of Christ’s bride, the true part of the church that is honestly in love with Him, the bride He will return for. No more of this half-hearted love for God, where we are just as much, if not more, still in love with the world and things we do in the world. Turn your eyes completely on Christ and learn to love Him like never before. Pray and read the word, in doing so you will begin to know God more and more and begin to love him so much more.
Turn your eyes upon Jesus
Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus
Helen Howarth Lemmel (1864-1961)
O soul, are you weary and troubled?
No light in the darkness you see?
There’s light for a look at the Savior,
And life more abundant and free!
Turn your eyes upon Jesus,
Look full in his wonderful face,
And the things of earth will grow strangely dim
In the light of his glory and grace.
Through death into life everlasting
He passed, and we follow Him there;
Over us sin no more hath dominion—
For more than conquerors we are!
His word shall not fail you—He promised;
Believe Him, and all will be well:
Then go to a world that is dying,
His perfect salvation to tell!
“Turn your eyes upon Jesus…” How awesome is that line and how appropriate for the time. Just remember that it’s not about who’s on stage, but the one who conquered the grave.
God bless

Why is the world the way it is?!
I don’t give a stuff for the stupid cultures that this world has developed and made into the ‘normal.’ It seems that all people care about now is what kind of party they go to next and how drunk they can get and how much sex they can get and all that stupid stuff. I think people have just lost the plot, they can’t see for themselves. There is so much pressure from other people and advertising and culture and stuff that people have forgotten to see the truth, literally. Honestly, what is attractive about a guy/girl stumbling all over the place being a complete fool, smelling, vomiting, totally out of it, and all that jazz?! Huh?! Explain to me what is so fun about ruining your life and others and winding up in eternal pain!!
What I love is when people talk about that stuff and how drunk they got or how many parties they go to or even ask me about if I do all that stuff, then I just don’t seem interested or tell them I don’t. It confused people and messes them up! They don’t know how to cope when they find out that it doesn’t interest me. Serious, that’s like their whole world and all they know; they don’t know how to react when they find out that I don’t care the slightest! It’s great!
I mean, seriously, I can live a life having way more fun, having way more memories, having no regrets, and not having the stupid side effects from all that. People don’t get it.
The devil has created such a large veil over the truth and blinded people so all they can see is so far from what they were meant to be! These people need a serious shaking! I’ve had it up to the top with seeing people think they are living all that life is meant to be, when they are far beyond even being close. Sure, where will all that stuff get you in the end?! Ha, ha, ha, HELL! NO JOKE!
God’s love makes you higher than any drug! Jesus’ blood can cure your pain beyond any amount of drink! The mercy of the Father can wash away ALL your sins and make you newer than any new thing! A touch from God is beyond comparison to any human feeling! The warmth from the arms of Jesus is stronger than the strongest flame! Knowing where you future is held is worth dying for!
So, daily I will die to Christ. The things of this world do not concern me, only the people of the world, the lives that have been held captive by the enemy, the ones that need to know the truth even when most cannot handle it! There is so much more to life! I will be about making God known to all! I will no longer hold anything back! All for Him, none for me, my reward is already waiting. It’s not what He can do for me, but what I can do for Him. He has already given all; cannot we not even surrender part of our lives?!
I pray that: If He will give me the words, then I will speak. I know I have the answer for a lost generation, and many do. Don’t hide that which will save someone’s life.
The time is getting nearer, and it may even be a little scary.
But, I have had this put on my heart, and I will stand for justice, purity, love, mercy, holiness, and among all, lifting the name of Jesus Christ!
1 Timothy 4:12
Let no man despise your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity.

Not of this world…
Just some scriptures to read, in no particular order:
James 4:4 You adulterous people! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Therefore whoever wishes to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.
Eph 5:18 And do not get drunk with wine, for that is debauchery, but be filled with the spirit,
1 Cor 15:34 Wake up from your drunken stupor, as is right, and do not go on sinning. For some have no knowledge of God. I say this to your shame.
1 Peter 4:1 For the time that is past suffices for doing what the Gentiles want to do, living in sensuality, passions, drunkenness, orgies, drinking parties, and lawless idolatry.
1 Peter 2:1 Beloved, I urge you as sojourners and exiles to abstain from the passions of the flesh, which wage against your soul.
Mat 18:7 ”Woe to the world for temptations to sin! For it is necessary that temptations come, but woe to the one by whom the temptation comes!
1 John 2:15-16
15 Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
16 For all that is in the world–the desires of the flesh and the desires of the eyes and pride in possessions–is not from the Father but is from the world.
1Co 7:2 But because of the temptation to sexual immorality, each man should have his own wife and each woman her own husband.
1Co 10:13 No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.
1 Tim 6:7 for we brought nothing into the world, and we cannot take anything out of the world.
1Ti 6:9 But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation, into a snare, into many senseless and harmful desires that plunge people into ruin and destruction.
Rom 13:13-14
13 Let us walk properly as in the daytime, not in orgies and drunkenness, not in sexual immorality and sensuality, not in quarrelling and jealousy.
14 But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to gratify its desires.
Gal 5:19-21
19 Now the works of the flesh are evident: sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality,
20 idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, rivalries, dissensions, divisions,
21 envy, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these. I warn you, as I warned you before, that those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.
Jas 1:14 But each person is tempted when he is lured and enticed by his own desire.
Rom 12:2 Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.
Php 1:21 For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.

DON’T EVER COMPROMISE!
Sure, the world is full of so much wrong these days. People wanting to go get blind or wasted; people swearing, cursing and speaking in such bad language; people smoking or doing other horrible stuff to their bodies (the holy temple); people having sex or other sexually immoral stuff and being adulterous; people too caught up in themselves that they miss they bigger picture; people being unbelievably selfish; people turning to ’religions’ and stuff that denies our God; people being rude; people persecuting others; and so much more. It’s everywhere and it may seem to be the way of the world at the moment but, the way I see it is:
“Once you get used to it, you accept it and once you accept it, you compromise.”
Compromise is the worst place to be in our Christian walks. If you compromise with the world then you’ve basically given up. We can’t let ourselves accept the way the world is, but we need to see the way it can be. I know that I myself cannot stand these things and I will not be one to live amongst it. No longer should we position ourselves amongst the things of this world, unless we can stand and say “hang on, this isn’t right.” I believe that things can change. I believe that the less complacent we become, the closer we come to making a stand.
Also:
“I don’t want to just be a Christian; I want to live a Christian.”
It can be so easy to ’be’ a Christian, in the way that you can say you’re a Christian and go to church and what not. But I don’t want to just ’be’ a Christian; I want to ’live’ a Christian. What does that mean? Well living a Christian involves every part of your life. Not just going to church on Sundays and being involved in some other activities, but actually being Christ-like every second of everyday. Too many get caught up in worldly conduct throughout their week and that’s what makes it hard to pick the Christians in the week. Too many become like any other when out in the world. I don’t want to be like that. What I want is that where ever I am, people would be able to go “He’s one of those Christians,” even if I get picked on, persecuted and whatever else. I want my light to shine even if it’s too bright that I get picked on by those in the dark. (This kinda refers to my other blog)
Anyway, I hope maybe someone reads this and gets any kind of inspiration. I’m getting to a stage that I am full of so many thoughts from God that I’m about to explode. I honestly feel a dramatic change coming on….

Persecution will come…
Persecution will come…
Php 1:29 For it has been granted to you that for the sake of Christ you should not only believe in him but also suffer for his sake,
2Ti 3:12 Indeed, all who desire to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted,
2Ti 2:3 Share in suffering as a good soldier of Christ Jesus.
2Ti 4:5 As for you, always be sober-minded, endure suffering, do the work of an evangelist, fulfil your ministry.
2Ti 1:8 Therefore do not be ashamed of the testimony about our Lord, but share in suffering for the gospel by the power of God,
Mat 5:10 ”Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Mat 5:12 Rejoice and be glad, for your reward is great in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.
1Pe 2:20 For what credit is it if, when you sin and are beaten for it, you endure? But if when you do good and suffer for it you endure, this is a gracious thing in the sight of God.
1Pe 4:19 Therefore let those who suffer according to God’s will entrust their souls to a faithful Creator while doing good.
Jas 5:13 Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing praise.
1Pe 2:19 For this is a gracious thing, when, mindful of God, one endures sorrows while suffering unjustly.
1Co 4:12 and we labour, working with our own hands. When reviled, we bless; when persecuted, we endure;
1 Peter 3:14-17
14 But even if you should suffer for righteousness’ sake, you will be blessed. Have no fear of them, nor be troubled,
15 but in your hearts honour Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defence to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect,
16 having a good conscience, so that, when you are slandered, those who revile your good behaviour in Christ may be put to shame.
17 For it is better to suffer for doing good, if that should be God’s will, than for doing evil.
Rom 8:35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword?
2Ti 2:12 if we endure, we will also reign with him; if we deny him, he also will deny us;
2Ti 2:10Therefore I endure everything for the sake of the elect, that they also may obtain the salvation that is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory.
Heb 12:7 It is for discipline that you have to endure. God is treating you as sons. For what son is there whom his father does not discipline?
Rom 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.
2Ti 2:15 Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth.

Just something I’ve been thinking since moving to Brisbane…
Just something I wanted to say: “It makes me sick to see a world so corrupt. All I can think about is the souls of those who may never know the truth, may never hear the word and who may never see the answer that is right in front of them. A generation who has turned to deceit of this world and the lies of the devil, a people who’s hope is in what will perish and a nations confusion about the meaning to life. We are not here on this earth to ‘have a good time.’ Sure there is nothing wrong with that but there is so much more meaning for our lives. We may be one in six billion but it’s not quantity that matters but the quality of our relationship with God that can change this world. As I lay at night I see the faces of those who I didn’t say anything to, the ones who I could have shared to, the people I should have tried harder to tell, the people that I know are lost to this pathetic world. Why? Why? Why does it have to be so? I don’t want to see anyone have to miss out on the best gift of all, let alone my friends and people I know. We hear it so many times that we can make a difference, that if we stand for what’s right that we can change the world, that all things are possible through God. But, how many of us have actually stopped just hearing about what we should be doing but acted? Why does it seem so hard to forget all the selfish ploys of the world and just give it all for our saviour? If we gave it all and held nothing back imagine what we could do. If we became not just hearers of the word but doers also we could do it. With God on our side nothing could stop us. We need to make the first step, not wait for it happen or for an ‘opportunity’ to appear, it’s us that need to start the ball rolling. There is a hope inside of every lost soul just waiting to be discovered, but we are the ones who need to point it out to the carrier. Sure, persecution will come. Suffering will come. Humiliation will come. But, did not Christ suffer for us? Selfless! That’s what we need to be. It’s not about what we can get out of it, our reward is already waiting for us, but it’ about giving others the chance too. We need to stop selfishly keeping it to ourselves. It’s not what we do on a Sunday that makes us a Christian and is going to save the lost, but what we do every single day to go out of our way to give someone else a hope. I pray not that God will give me the strength but that I would find the strength He’s already given me. God Bless…”
